Ema Wanjiku knows only too well what widows have to go through here in Kenya and Africa. Widowed at 36, her husband passed on due to COVID-19 in 2021. She was left with 3 children all under the age of 7. She suffered rejection by in-laws and faced the harsh realities of becoming a widow in Kenya. She believes that through encouragement and empowerment, every widow can take her place in society with dignity.
